German R. Ufret Pérez, Esq.
Mr. Ufret is a Founding Member of the Firm. He currently oversees all the cases relating to his areas of practice.
Education:
He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico School in 1994 and in 1998 obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Mr. Ufret obtained both degrees with the achievement of Magna Cum Laude.
Experience:
Mr. Ufret joined the Firm at its founding in 2006. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Ufret worked as a solo practitioner from 2000-2006. Mr. Ufret also worked from 1998-2000 at the Circuit Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico.
Practice:
His main areas of practice are corporate law, insurance law, real estate and construction law and general civil litigation.

Mr. Ufret is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fisrt Circuit and is also a public notary.
Juan M. Frontera Suau, Esq.
Mr. Frontera is a Founding Member of the Firm. He currently oversees all the cases relating to his areas of practice.
Education:
Mr. Frontera obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School in 1994 and in 1998 obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
Experience:
Mr. Frontera joined the Firm at its founding in 2006. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Frontera worked as a solo practitioner from 2002-2006. He worked from 1998 to 2002 at Shuster, Usera, Aguiló & Santiago, where he practiced litigation in the area of labor and employment law. He has experience in the representation of clients in collective negotiations, arbitration procedures and matters before the National labor relations board.
Practice:
His main areas of practice are labor and employment law, general civil litigation at state and federal courts, health and insurance law.

Mr. Frontera is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and is also a public notary.
Carlos Jimenez, Esq.
Education:
Mr. Jiménez obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School in 1994 and in 1998 obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
Experience:
Mr. Jiménez joined the Firm as Of Counsel in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as attorney for the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico.
Practice:
His main areas of practice are corporate law, bankruptcy, industrial incentives, contracts, commercial real estate, labor and employment law and general civil litigation.

Mr. Jiménez is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Federal District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and is also a public notary.
Israel O. Alicea-Luciano, Esq.
Education:
Mr. Alicea obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus in 2003 and in 2006 obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Mr. Alicea finalized both degrees with the achievement of Magna Cum Laude.
Experience:
Mr. Alicea joined the Firm as Of Counsel in 2008. His experience ranges from telecommunications law to state and federal criminal law, corporate and intellectual property law.
Practice:
His main areas of practice are corporate law, bankruptcy, intellectual property, contracts, administrative law and general civil litigation.

Alicia I. Lavergne, Esq.
Education:
Ms. Lavergne obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and obtained in 1999 her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
Experience:
She joined the Firm as Of Counsel in 2009. Ms. Lavergne has experience in commercial and civil litigation before local and federal courts, administrative agencies and arbitration. She also has extensive experience in probate and family law.
Practice:
Ms. Lavergne’s main areas of practice are probate and family law, real estate, contracts, torts and general civil litigation.
